| "We have tested the retro-tips ST38L, ST38-90°, and the ST38R
in five periradicular surgeries here at the Endodontic graduate program,
and the results were outstanding.
The power "5" setting was used as recommended by you in most of the
cases, except for one of the cases, where the resident had to unite two
canals through an isthmus. He used the ST38-90* at power "7" and
the procedure went uneventful. All the residents included in these
tests were oriented to apply gentle pressure while using these tips, and
so far the tips look ready for use after they have been autoclaved for
about 6 times.
We plan to keep using these tips until we can detect any structural
deformation, and I will be glad to let you know about its performance." |
