CS-Series Contra Angle Handpieces

The Contra Angle Handpieces consist of two major components: Contra Shanks (CS) and Contra Heads (CH).
CS-Series Contra Angle Handpieces are fully steam autoclavable and interchangeable with SH-Series Straight Handpieces on the LVS Micromotor.
Contra Shanks allow for 4 right-angle position seatings for the Contra Heads.
Contra Heads accept ø2.35 mm burs (except CH-08 and CH-21B).
Osada Handpiece Units with reduction speed handpieces supply very high torque that only an electric Micromotor can provide. The friction reduction bearing mechanism on the CS-031 and CS-032 assures safe and true-aligned drilling, minimizing tissue violence.

CH-07: 1:1 Latch-Type Contra Head.
CH-08: 1:1 Friction-Grip for ø1.6 mm turbine burs (with bur remover).
CH-11B: 1:1 Latch-Type contra Head with Irrigation Pipe.
CH-21B: 1:1 Friction-Grip-Type with Irrigation Pipe (with remover).
CH-31GR: 2:1 Reduction Speed Prophy Head, half speed for prophylaxis (Kavo).

CH-62G: 10:1 Reduction Speed, extra slow (Kavo).
CH-67C: 2:1 Reduction Speed with external Irrigation Pipe (Kavo).
CH-67I: 2:1 Reduction Speed with removable internal irrigation pipe, to be used with Kirschner-type burs (Kavo).
Irrigation Pipe: Replacement pipe assembly for CH-67I (Kavo).

CS-10: 1:2 double Speed Contra Shank
CS-132: 1:1 Contra Shank
CS-031: 2.7:1 Reduction.
CS-032: 7.4:1 Reduction.

To obtain the output speed range of any combination, divide the power control speed range by the total reduction ratio (product of CH and CS reduction ratios)
